2021, Out with a Bang.

2021 saw the start of something exciting. A vision becoming a reality: the beginning of Global Reach Logistics. e have watched our business grow from strength to strength, and we would love to share some of our highlights with you.

CHEERS TO 2021.

2021 saw $5.4 trillion spent on eCommerce, with more consumers moving towards the digital world of online shopping. Industry sales are forecasted to rise to $5.9 trillion in 2022. It is fair to say the industry faced some challenges and curveballs along the way: from the Suez canal blockages, COVID 19, lorry driver shortages, the impact of Brexit. Yet, we have had some great moments too. 2021 will always be an important year in our diaries at Global Reach Logistics: Here's why.

2021 saw the start of something exciting. A vision becoming a reality: the beginning of Global Reach Logistics. Since starting in February 2021, we have watched our business grow from strength to strength, and we would love to share some of our highlights with you. Here’s to 2021, and what is to come in 2022.

Opening our Hub office in Daventry.

This was the first step, we were given the keys to our first office back in February when the vision of Global Reach Logistics started to become a reality. The past 11 months have shared significant growth in our journey, with investments in our infrastructure, facilities, and people. Last year saw us hire over 130 employees across the business, optimise our operation and expand our storage by building new two-tier mezzanine floors and 27,000 sq ft of additional pallet racking. This expansion benefits our customers, so they can grow alongside us in the UK, with access to a facility in the heart of logistics.

European Expansion.

This year we have focused on our Expansion in Europe, opening an incredible four new warehouses in different regions across Poland and the Netherlands. Our operations expansion plans to support new and existing online retailers with their cross-border needs within the EU, with access to over 50,000 sq m of warehouse space.
